Scripter Joshua (Cutey Bunny) Quagmire, penciler Milton (Mighty Mouse) Knight, and inker/letterer (and Betty Boop biographer) Leslie Carbarga are all major Boop fans whose extensive professional comics work is heavily-influenced by the free-wheeling look and style of 1920s-30s animation, so they were the perfect dream-team to bring this never-reprinted 1990 project to life!

...Bimbo brings Betty to Coney Island, where his friends, who work for Max and Dave Productions (named after the Fleischer brothers whose studio created characters and cartoons including BimboBettyKoko the Clown, and Gramps) are filming one-reel theatrical shorts in various genres...
